Slow Cooker Chili
Ingredients:
- 1 pound of lean ground beef
- 2 stalks of finely chopped celery
- 1/2 of a yellow onion finely chopped
- 1 and 1/2 tablespoons of chili powder
- 2 teaspoons of cumin
- 1/2 tablespoon of minced garlic
- 1 (15 ounce) can of diced tomato
- 1 (15 ounce) can of tomato sauce
- 2 (15 ounce) cans of red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 2 cups of beef broth (or water)
- 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
- salt and pepper to taste
Brown the ground beef in a skillet. Once cooked, drain the fat and place the cooked beef into your slow cooker. Add all the ingredients into the slow cooker also. Stir together and cook on low for 4-6 hours.
